Personal
I grew up in a low-income family of five in Indiana. My father was a union iron worker and taught me to use my hands. I love art and spend thousands of hours painting and crafting jewelry which later became my hand skills I use as dentist.
I was the first to attend college in my family. I later moved to Texas and became an engineer, neurobiologist and doctor of dental surgery from a top program in the United States.

I live in a small farmhouse outside Tacoma and spend my time driving the tractor, rocking out to music with my three dogs, two birds, two ducks and two tortoises. My love for animals is why I'm Tacoma's dog friendly dentist.
