What is Floss & Fido 

- Floss & Fido is my primary business. I started TACOMA DENTURES afterward to expand my specific denture and training and skills to Tacoma area. 

 

Do you offer alternatives to Dentures?

- Yes, I try to save as many natural teeth as possible.  But it is all up to what makes you comfortable. A Maryland bridge may be an option,  a full bridge or implant supported dentures.

What types of dentures do you offer?
- I offer bridges, full dentures , partial, and implant-supported dentures, along with  repairs and relines. 

 

How do I know if I need dentures?
 - If you’re missing several teeth, struggling to chew, or avoiding smiling because of your teeth, dentures may be a option. I start with a gentle exam and honest conversation that takes your feelings and journey into account.

Why do my current dentures hurt or feel loose?
- Over time, your gums and bone naturally change shape, but dentures don’t. That’s why they start slipping or rubbing. I can reline or refit your existing dentures or design a new set.

What is Alveoloplasty?
- It is a special surgery often performed after tooth extractions to smooth out irregularities left behind by the teeth, which can otherwise cause discomfort and poor fit for dentures.

What about a Denturist? 
-  A denturist might create a great set of dentures but fail to help with other important health issues with in your mouth because they are not a doctor.

What about places that offer Free Visits and Same day? 

 - There's a reason it's free. Most of the time it's to bait you to come in; once you're there offer you a line of credit so you can go into debt on high-end procedures.  Same day denture and solutions are convenient and sometimes great, but other times  means its more expensive and they don't have flexibility to use different labs and different experts and materials which may lock you into "their solution". It's best to be cautiously optimistic.
